(Best Syndication News) Mortgage interest rates were only slightly higher today despite a downturn in some of the benchmarks (see the mortgage rate charts below). While most lenders lowered their rates, Bank of America and KeyBank raised them.

Stock markets in the United States roller-coastered in negative territory Wednesday on Spanish sovereign debt worries. Investors took profits after two straight days of positive growth. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) fell 82 points (-0.63%) to 13,032.
