(Best Syndication News) – A voluntary recall has been announced for Navien Instantaneous Tankless Water Heaters because a connection could fail and if the vent collar detaches could release carbon monoxide. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) along with the importer, Navien America, located in Irvine, California, made the safety recall announcement.

Approximately 13,000 tankless water heaters involved in this recall. Navien America is the importer, while the manufacturer of the product is Kyung Dong Navien Co. Ltd., from South Korea. No injuries were reported in association with this recall. Wholesale distributors and home installers sold the water heaters nationwide from February 2008 through March 2009. The tankless water heaters sold for $1,500 – $2,100.
