(Best Syndication News) – The County of San Bernardino Board of Supervisors will begin holding their meetings over a videoconferencing system. Although video of the meetings has already been available online, this is a new method of interacting with the public. Residents in the High Desert can go to a Victorville meeting room to participate and view the video-conference. The video-conference at the remote location will help make it easier for the residents of the high desert communities to participate in the local government without having to travel as far for meetings.
The Board of Supervisors will have their first teleconferenced meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 10 a.m. Traveling to the meeting room may not be needed, if the goal is to only view the meeting. County residents can watch a live meeting online at http://www.sbcounty.gov/main/countyvision.asp. There are also previously recorded meetings available to review.
