(Best Syndication News) – Southwest Airlines started their ‘Countdown to Savings’ Airfare Sale that is going on between July 5, and July 14, 2011. The airfare sale is for travel between August 23, 2011 and December 14, 2011. Advertised airfare prices are as low as $59 one-way.
The discounted flights are available every day except for Fridays and Sundays. Southwest has blackout dates for the sale, which is September 1 – September 5, and November 17 – November 29, 2011. Southwest said that travel for this sale is not available to/from Albany, NY; Charleston, SC; Washington (Dulles), D.C.; New York (LaGuardia), NY; Ft. Myers, FL. Seats are limited and the cost of the flights can vary depending on the day of the week and on busy holiday travel periods. Extra fees and taxes are not included in the advertised sale prices.
