(Best Syndication News) Average rates declined again Monday while Bank of America raised rates and Chase and Wells Fargo lowered them (see mortgage rate charts below).

30 Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) increased slightly to 4.680 percent. The average rate has dropped one basis point over the past week and nine basis points over the past 30 days.

Wells Fargo kept their rates steady, except they did lower their 30-year fixed FHA rates 13-basis points to 5.05 percent. Bank of America raised their rate one basis point to 4.904 percent.
